Minutes of the Meeting of
September 15, 2008



I.      CALL TO ORDER

        Vice Chairman Joan DiLillo called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m.

        Members Present:        Joan DiLillo, Vice Chairman
                                Kenneth Lawson, Member
                                David Nagle, Member

        Members Absent: Philip Lindquist, Chairman
                                Richard Flynn, Clerk

        Others Present: Noreen O’Toole, Town Planner
                                Barbara Ferguson, Administrative Assistant

                
II.     ACCEPTANCE OF MINUTES

        Acceptance of Minutes of Meeting of August 18, 2008

        Motion to accept the minutes of the meeting of August 18, 2008: David Nagle

III.    TOWN PLANNER’S REPORT

        Master Plan Committee

        Town Planner Noreen O’Toole said that she is still in the process of distributing Master Plan CDs  but has received no feedback.  She said that there is a hard copy and a CD available for the public at the library.

        Hanson Trails Committee

        Vice Chairman Joan DiLillo said that the committee would be getting back into action in late fall.

        Zoning Bylaw Committee

        Ms. O’Toole said that the committee would resume meeting after the October Special Town Meeting and would probably be meeting two times a month to have articles ready for consideration at the Annual Town Meeting in May.

        Old Colony Planning Council Joint Transportation Committee

        Ms. O’Toole said that the Old Colony Planning Council Joint Transportation Committee will meet on September 18, 2008.

V.      NEW BUSINESS

        Sign Asbuilt Plans

        Board members signed the asbuilt plans for Ransom Road and William Way. Ms. O’Toole said that a public hearing was scheduled before the Board of Selectmen on September 16, 2008 to discuss the three streets to be placed for acceptance on the warrant of the October 6, 2008 Special Town Meeting.  The plans for the other street, Captain Nathaniel Drive, were signed at a previous Planning Board meeting.  Ms. O’Toole said that she would be attending the hearing.
